Marilyn Monroe Didn’t Have Cellulite

If you look at vintage photographs of women before digital touching up was common, you will notice women almost never had cellulite. Did you know that Marilyn Monroe was a size 13? When is the last time you saw a woman of that size in shorts or a swimsuit without cellulite? Cellulite was once thought of to be a side effect from being overweight. However there are many petite women size 4 and even size 2 that have issues with cellulite.

What goes on in today’s society that causes cellulite women regardless of size? A multitude of things have changed but we have to look at what we take into our bodies that is different. The body is made up or natural organs and of course works with and receives nutrients from natural things such as water, milk, fruits, vegetables, meat, poultry, fish, etc. Somewhere along the line, we invented man made products. We started with natural ingredients and somehow progressed to adding chemicals. Americans ingest over 8 pounds of pesticides per year alone. Once we discovered the importance of calories in the 70’s, we became obsessed with cutting calories. Fake sugars were invented with lower calories and sweet or bitter taste. Today, there are very few items in a grocery store that are not tainted with harmful chemicals, preservatives, pesticides and artificial colorings. Such ingredients as aspartame, BHA & BHT, caffeine, monosodium glutamate (MSG), nitrite, nitrate, olestra, potassium bromate and sulfates are all man made chemicals. These ingredients are absorbed into the body but our bodies are not capable of releasing them the same way natural ingredients are processed through the body. These chemicals that we consider the norm are known to actually harden our fat cells causing the cellulite cluster appearance.

Our original thoughts with the invention of man made sugars and such was to digest less calories and weight loss. However, the body can process and burn off things like sugar and the most caloric meals. But our bodies can not learn how to burn off chemicals. It is a scary thought and certainly not anything we have just discovered. In 1933 a book written by Arthur Kallet and F.J. Schlink called 100,000,000 Guinea Pigs warned society about the harmful effects of chemicals in food, cosmetics and drugs. Reading it today it feels almost like predictions from Nostradamus, except all of their claims were true.
