Essential Oils For Cellulite

Essential Oils For Cellulite

There are many methods that can be used for the treatment of cellulite and one of the methods that is less popular is using essential oils for cellulite reduction. There are many different kinds of essential oils that you can use and in this short article we will look at some of the more effective ones.

Essential oils are also used for stretch marks and have been known to help weight loss. I have to admit in my experience there are treatments that have been more effective but it is always good to keep and open mind and see what works for you. Let us now take a look at some oils which have been shown to reduce the appearance of cellulite.

Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil comes from the Melaleuca plant and is used for many things like cuts and grazes and is one of the better essential oils for cellulite. It works by increasing the circulation which stop the build up of fat cells in the legs and thighs. Tea tree oil is a very versatile oil with its many uses, however there is even better oils for cellulite.

Juniper has been used for hundreds of years. It was originally used as a diuretic and is great for relieving fluid retention. Juniper is well known for its purification benefits and detoxifying ability. As it is very effective at increasing vascular circulation it makes it one of the better essential oils for cellulite.

Rosemary is the last of the more effective essential oils. It works very well for lymphatic congestion which is why it is effective for cellulite. If you have a job which requires you to stand up for long periods of time it can also be used on the calves to reduce the swelling.

Using essential oils for cellulite and weight loss is good, however I have found that using specific skin treatments have had more of an effect at reducing cellulite. They may have been a good remedy over the last century but I prefer to use a more scientific approach. Like with many things it is always good to experiment for yourself and see what works best for you.
